The Young Initiators Program’ (YIP)
In partnership with the The Huddle - North Melbourne Football Club, the program is a two-day free leadership intensive for young people between the ages of 12 - 25 years from all backgrounds aimed at encouraging the practice of leadership and active citizenship within their community. The program seeks to assist in the development of leadership skills, forging connections with other young passionate individuals within their community and explore how the core concepts of values, active citizenship and participation work to positively build their community.
At the end of the program there will also be an opportunity for participants to collaboratively run a youth led project. This will be a paid position and provide them with an opportunity to put their leadership skills into practice.
